It's been a while since I have been able to post here.  About two months ago my computer went wacky and wouldn't turn on.  :(  This makes me very sad because I have had that computer for four years now.  It had a sticker my husband gave me while on deployment.  I knew it wouldn't last forever but darn it!  It was a good friend!  I still have yet to get everything off of my hard drive...that will be a little longer...so until then I can't do any digi-scrapping :( and my pictures and music and all my other documents are lost on my hard drive.

I have decided that I STINK at trying to sell candles even though I love the product...I am not a pusher...sooo I still have my webpage but will no longer be posting about that.

I have been busy making all kinds of crocheted goodies lately... I made my closest friend here in HI a slouchy hat that looks super cute on her!  I plan on making myself one as well. Then I made my son a Spider-Man blanket and a premie layette set.  I just finished working on some stuff for my cousins triplets...can't wait to share how those turned out but I have to wait till I send them off and they get them before I can share what I made and what they look like. Now I am on to making mysel an afghan...It's funny I have been crocheting for over ten years and I have made an afghan for my grandmother, one for my husband, one for my son, a purse for me, and tons of other stuff...but never a blanket for me to enjoy....I decided I want one and am going to make one for myself.

My husband has been encouraging me to try to make and sell some of my stuff...problem is I get kinda tired of crocheting after a while...so I am not sure if I would be able to do it on a consistent basis...PLUS if I EVER get to open my child care I won't have near as much time as I do now to work on things.

I will post pictures of my projects later...I am sorry I have only gotten pictures on my phone and haven't taken pictures with my camera yet.

BTW Sorry it's been so long...I really missed blogging...I realize I am not a "regular" blogger, but I do enjoy sharing my ventures on here.  For those of you that DO follow me...Thank you and I truly hope you enjoy my blogs.

PS I will be posting about another creation adventure I took on soon as well. :)

So excited to share! A GIVEAWAY!

Hi Readers!! I am WAY excited to write this post and tell you about this company!

As a kid I had a real self esteem problem.  Most of my low self esteem came from the fact that I had REALLY bad acne.  I got called all kinds of really mean and ugly names.  I have tried MANY acne treatments, including those that come with prescriptions, yet I rarely had any results from it all.  I was sure by the time I was a grown adult my face would be clear and beautiful!  Fast forward 15-20 years, I have been married traveled with my husband and had two babies and I still have TERRIBLE acne.  I have come to terms with it as I have PCOS and that is one of the symptoms of PCOS.

A couple of months ago I received an email about possibly doing a review and giveaway for a company called Dermagist.  I checked it out and low and behold they had the Ultimate Clarifying System, which is designed to "Rapidly target Acne Breakouts naturally while aiming to reduce redness and irritation with Resveratrol, Glycolic Acid, Niacinamide, Aloe and Chamomile. PLUS get a Jar of our Acne Scar Fading Cream. This is the ULTIMATE in helping acne and scars." This system comes with three steps. Step one is to wash your face with the Detoxifying Cleanser, then rub a tiny bit of the Acne Clarifying Cream, and last rub in a little of the Acne Scar Fading Cream.

Before I begin, first let me tell you...I am terrible at doing things like taking showers and cleaning my face on a regular basis because "Monkey" takes up most of my time and by the time I get him to sleep I am generally too worn out to do anything so I was not as dedicated to using the product as often as I should have been.

The first time I used the system, I used WAY too much of the cream...I was thinking it was like all these other OTC products that you had to use TONS in order to cover your entire face...BOY WAS I WRONG!!!  I was rubbing forever trying to get it all rubbed into my face.  I just takes a tiny tiny bit to cover your entire face and lasts forever!!  I am on day 30 and still haven't even made it a quarter of the way through the creams!!!  That is amazing!

Proof??? You want Proof that it works??? How dare you ask for proof??? ha ha ha Just kidding.

I took pictures of both sides of my face on the day I started the treatment and yesterday.

There are several VERY noticable zits.  Also notice the redness and the scars.

This is super zoomed in(sorry for the poor quality I used my phone to take all four pictures)  But if you notice the redness is mostly gone and I only have one or two zits that are noticeable.

My review is...this stuff works.  Like I said earlier, I wasn't completely able to be consistent and this is the results, so imagine if I had been totally consistent.

The only thing I had issues with is the very first day I began using this we went to an airshow.  I looked for warnings about being outside (becuase most skin products like this have warnings about going outside) and I didn't notice any.  I got FRIED...granted I forgot the sunscreen until about halfway through, but I rarely put sunscreen on my face becuase of my acne problem and I have NEVER in my life peeled on my face...and I did this time.  I don't know for sure if had anything to do with this product or not...but I do suggest wearing a hat when you go outside and using sunscreen.

GIVEAWAY:
They have agreed to give one of my lucky readers the same exact system.  To enter the giveaway you must first go to  the Dermagist Facebook page and like them and leave them a comment telling them what you like about their products or why you are excited to try this product.  After you do that please come back here and leave me a comment letting me know that you did this and what name you use on facebook. (only one entry person and I will make sure that you left the comment on their facebook page.)  I will choose a random number on Tuesday, November 6 at midnight PST.
